Are you ready to create clean, intuitive user interfaces that are essential for mission-critical space operations? NS2 Mission is seeking a talented Front-End Developer with strong Vue.js expertise to build modern, responsive applications that ensure outstanding performance and user satisfaction.

In this pivotal role, you will support the EMMETT program, which focuses on advancing Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems. This platform is vital for maintaining a repository of resident space objects (RSOs) and delivering critical data to ground operators.

As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for developing user interfaces that transform complex space and sensor data into accessible and actionable insights. Collaborate with a dedicated team of experts to help us deliver a world-class SDA capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Vue.js
• Build reusable UI components, ensuring consistency across applications
• Translate wireframes, mockups, and design systems into high-quality, functional code
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to enhance user workflows and interactions
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Optimize UI performance and improve initial load times
• Participate in code reviews, sharing insights on front-end/UI best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues in live production environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in user interface development
• Proficiency in Vue.js
• Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Solid understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles
• Experience with RESTful API integration
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern build tools and deployment pipelines
• Knowledge of UI testing frameworks
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
