Front End Geospatial Developer (VueJS)

Closure Tech is seeking a Lead UI Developer to support a mission-critical geospatial program in Chantilly, VA. The developer will be the sole UI engineer on the team, requiring someone with a strong sense of ownership over the code base.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Strong experience with Vue.js in production environments
• Proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and component-based UI architecture
• Experience with Vuetify or similar UI frameworks
• Hands-on experience with geospatial or mapping libraries such as:
  • OpenLayers
  • Turf.js
  • GeoLib
  • Geodesy
• Ability to work independently as the sole frontend developer on a team

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with other frameworks such as React or Angular and ability to quickly ramp in Vue
• Familiarity with:
  • Playwright or other end-to-end testing frameworks
  • CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Experience building high-performance, data-heavy user interfaces
