About the role

Your Responsibilities

  • Customer Interface & Stakeholder Management:
    • Central point of contact for the customer during the entire product development process; professional management of communication between customer, engineering, project team, and management to fulfill customer requirements and project goals.
  • Project and Program Management Competence:
    • Leadership of interdisciplinary project teams across all development phases; planning, coordination, and reporting of progress, quality, costs, and deadlines to the customer and Molex management.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving:
    • Ability for early identification of project-related risks and definition and implementation of mitigation and contingency measures; escalation of hurdles to support management decisions and ensure project scope.
  • Cost, Quality, and Process Understanding:
    • Proficient handling of Molex Product Development processes as well as TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, EH&S; active support of compliance and continuous optimization of internal processes, including cost and quality targets.
  • Interface Competence with Suppliers & Quotation Phase (RFI/RFQ):
    • Management and communication with suppliers to meet cost, quality, and deadline requirements; active support of the RFI/RFQ phase including requirements reviews, cost calculations, deadline and quality planning, and customer reporting.

What You Bring

  • Experience in project and program management of complex development projects, ideally in the automotive or industrial sector, with confident leadership of interdisciplinary teams across all project phases.
  • Strong customer and communication skills to act as a central interface between customer, engineering, management, and suppliers, and to professionally translate customer requirements into internal project goals.
  • Sound knowledge in cost, quality, and deadline management, including risk management, escalation of barriers, and implementation of mitigation and contingency measures to secure project scope.
  • Proficient handling of development and quality processes, e.g., Product Development Processes, TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, as well as EH&S guidelines, and the ability to consistently apply and further develop them.
  • Experience in quotation and supplier management (RFI/RFQ), including requirements reviews, cost calculations, deadline and quality planning, and coordination of external suppliers to meet cost, quality, and time specifications.
