Front-End Software Developer & UX designer

Are you the Front-end Developer & UX Designer who makes smart technology accessible?

At Hotraco, we develop smart solutions for sectors including agriculture and industry. As a Front-end Software Developer/UX Designer, you are the link between our users and the technology. You translate complex processes and data into user-friendly interfaces for our management packages, cloud solutions and internal tools. You will work closely with product managers, back-end developers and other stakeholders to define requirements, create designs and translate these into high-quality front-end software.

These Are Your Responsibilities As a Front-end Software Developer • Developing and maintaining modern, responsive interfaces for our products (controllers, management software, Cloud dashboards) • Optimising the user experience: ease of use, accessibility, performance and consistency in look and feel • Collaborating with product managers to define and refine requirements • Incorporating UX and front-end considerations into design decisions and architecture • Actively contributing to the structure, maintainability and reusability of the front-end codebase (design system, component library)

What do we require from you? • You have experience as a Software Engineer/Front-end Developer, preferably with a strong focus on UX and UI • Good verbal and written command of Dutch and English; • You can work independently, enjoy taking the initiative and have a proactive attitude towards learning and improvement • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills: you can translate complex functionality into simple, understandable interfaces.
