About the Role: Embark on an exhilarating journey with us as a Frontend Software Engineer in the FinTech sector. Frontend Development:
Build and maintain new user-facing features using React.js, HTML5, and CSS. Develop, test, and deploy front-end code for FinTech systems, ensuring high performance and reliability. Collaborate with Back-End Engineers to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive system.
Code Quality & Standards:
Adhere to Engineering Principles, Pull Request Standards, and Definitions of Done to ensure high-quality code. Implement Unit Tests to achieve sufficient code coverage. Follow the “Clean as you code” standard for code cleanliness and maintainability.
Documentation & Communication:
Create, read, maintain, and review documentation related to development processes and systems. Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders using Pull Requests, Jira Tickets, Slack, and Confluence. Mentor other engineers and share valuable knowledge through knowledge-sharing sessions.
Agile Practices:
Work in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban methods. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s code quality and standards.
Qualifications:
Essential:
2-4 years of experience with React.js, HTML5, and CSS. Experience working within an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban methods. Proficiency with version control systems such as GitHub. Experience working in development environments for Development, Testing, and Production, including branching strategies. Experience in technical leadership, code quality, code standards, code security, system performance, and documentation.
Desirable:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, and Node.js. Experience in REST API or GraphQL API integration. Familiarity with CMS API integration (e.g., Sanity, Magento). Proficiency in development tools such as VSCode or IntelliJ.
