The Role
This role focuses on supporting and maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of web-based platforms that provide financial planning and advisory services to a large customer base. The position is centered on production support rather than full-time development, with responsibilities including monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and ensuring reliable day-to-day operations. The work involves handling critical alerts, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high uptime so that users can consistently access digital tools and services.
The position requires experience with system support practices such as incident and change management, along with familiarity with Agile environments. Key skills include working with front-end technologies like Angular, JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript, as well as using monitoring and analytics tools such as Splunk and Datadog to analyze logs and identify issues. Experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and deployment pipelines is important, along with the ability to improve processes, manage workflows, and solve complex technical problems in a fast-paced support environment.
