Front End Web Developer (DoD Clearance + Angular + Java) Applicant must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance at a minimum and live in the Washington DC Metro Area. Full-time W2 (1099/Corp to Corp is not accepted) Hybrid (On-Site & Remote) (Full-Time 40+ Hour Weeks) 3+ Days weekly at Company (Fairfax, VA) or Customer (Ft. Belvoir, VA) Site. 2+ Days Remote/Work from Home. PioneerTech is seeking a Web Application Developer (Java & Front-End) with Angular experience and a background in DoD technical projects. Duties Develop and maintain web applications using Angular, Java/J2EE, and Azure DevSecOps. Build modern UI components with Angular. Collaborate with senior developers to deliver stable, scalable, and high-quality solutions. Work in a dynamic team environment and travel to client sites as needed. Understand and implement business rules effectively in application development. Adapt and refine solutions based on continuous analysis and feedback. Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members. Provide accurate time estimates to support project planning. Report progress honestly to maintain transparency in project status. Position Requirements: Proficient in Angular with experience in component development and REST API integration. Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Angular architecture, and data binding. Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum). CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 certification. Java certification or equivalent technical qualification (minimum). Bachelor’s degree or diploma (preferably in a STEM field). Skill Requirements: Developing web applications with Angular and Java using Spring Boot. Working with ORM frameworks like Hibernate, JPA, or similar. Using build tools such as Maven and Gradle. Applying testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Cypress. Strong analytical and debugging skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues. Professional Requirements: Ability to effectively estimate & complete tasks on-time/ahead of schedule. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective collaboration with others to solve problems & create solutions. Flexible to change/direction wherever the solution/situation goes. Cheerful outlook and resilient outlook regardless of circumstances. Bonus Points: Experience with SQL queries, functions, and PL/SQL stored procedures. Familiarity with UI component libraries like PrimeNG, Angular Material, or NG-Zorro. Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance. Experience with DoD, Defense Logistics Agency, or Joint Staff projects. Knowledge of ADVANA Data Sharing. Master’s degree, preferably in a STEM field.
