OVERVIEW

BrainWorks is currently seeking a Frontend React Developer for an AI-driven digital wellness platform. In this role, you’ll design the human-AI interface — crafting a visually stunning, emotionally intelligent UI that connects users with advanced conversational technology. The right candidate is both technical and empathetic, blending front-end engineering excellence with design sensitivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Architect and build a modern React-based application with complex real-time functionality. • Develop conversational and audio-driven interfaces using WebSockets and dynamic state management. • Collaborate with UX/UI and backend teams to deliver elegant, responsive experiences. • Optimize application speed, performance, and accessibility across devices. • Maintain high coding standards through documentation, testing, and reviews.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • 4-5+ years of professional experience in React development. • Expert in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. • Experience integrating REST APIs and WebSocket communication. • Strong understanding of modern React architecture, hooks, and state management. • Experience building real-time or streaming applications. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

NICE-TO-HAVE: • Experience with TypeScript, Framer Motion, or advanced animation libraries. • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library). • Familiarity with Azure Static Web Apps or similar deployment environments. • Interest in designing interfaces for AI or virtual-assistant technologies.

DISCLAIMERS

In accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparency and fair hiring laws, the target annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000.

Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and work location.

This position may also be eligible for additional forms of compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits package provided by the hiring employer.
