About the Role
This is a staff augmentation position to support platform modernization within a leading financial institution. You will join a team of 10 people in Fort Lauderdale (part of a larger 30-person team in Canada/offshore) and contribute to building enterprise-grade user interfaces. This role offers the opportunity to work within a SAFe Agile environment with a 1-2 week training period. Working within a leading FI organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high quality, component-based user interfaces that support Client enterprise platforms
- Contribute across the full SDLC within a SAFe Agile environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineering, QA, product, and security
- Write, test, debug, and review code ensuring adherence to Client coding standards
- Work in GitHub-based repositories for source control, pull requests, and code reviews
- Maintain clear, accurate Jira documentation including user stories, technical notes, and delivery artifacts
- Support testing, deployment, and post-delivery maintenance
- Provide consistent documentation and knowledge transfer to Client full-time staff
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and interact with internal/external stakeholders (~2 hours daily meetings)
- May include after-hours on-call support as required
Must Have Responsibilities
- Hands-on development using Angular (14+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS
- Building responsive, accessible, component-based UIs

- Code reviews, debugging, and adherence to coding standards
- GitHub repository management and Jira documentation
Experience
- 2+ years of overall software development experience
- Intermediate-level Angular (14+) development experience
- Experience in banking/financial services industry preferred

- RxJS, state management, modular UI patterns
- Responsive and accessible UI development
- Git/GitHub, Jira, SAFe Agile

Computer Science or related degree
