Frontend Engineer (Design Systems) – Build the Interface Layer of AI

We’re partnering with a high-growth AI company redefining how people interact with information. Their product sits at the intersection of search, reasoning, and real-time intelligence and they’re now investing heavily in the frontend experience that powers it.

This is an opportunity to own and evolve the design system behind a product used at massive scale, shaping how users interact with next-generation AI interfaces.

The Role • You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team focused on building and scaling the UI foundations that power the entire product. • This isn’t just about components - it’s about crafting a seamless, high-performance interaction layer for AI-native applications.

You’ll: • Design and develop reusable UI systems that power multiple product surfaces • Create and refine core components that other engineers build on top of • Push the boundaries of interactive and generative UI experiences • Continuously improve performance, usability, and visual polish • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to ship quickly and thoughtfully

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for engineers who care deeply about craft, performance, and user experience.

You likely have: • Strong experience building frontend systems at scale • Deep knowledge of modern frameworks (React, TypeScript, etc.) • A track record of building highly interactive, production-grade applications • An eye for detail and a strong sense of design and UX patterns • Experience creating systems that other engineers rely on • A mindset of ownership - you take responsibility for outcomes, not just code • A passion for experimentation and iterating quickly
