Frontend Engineer - STACKIT (m/w/d)

Requirements

• Solid experience in development with Angular.
• Proficient with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
• Familiar with the BFF concept and understanding of modern web app interaction with distributed systems.
• Ideally, initial exposure to Go (Golang) or willingness to engage with backend logic.
• High value placed on code quality, modularity, and test-driven development.
• Cloud-native mindset, proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Confident communication in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale the browser-based user interface for the STACKIT Distributed Cloud.
• Design sustainable UI architectures, create technical designs, and ensure maintainability through clean documentation.
• Conceive and implement efficient communication paths between frontend and backend, especially using BFF patterns.
• Monitor and optimize frontend loading times and responsiveness.
• Take responsibility for the testing lifecycle (unit, integration, and E2E tests) for a robust user journey.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
