Frontend Quality Engineer

Your role in the team

• Development, enhancement, and maintenance of automated frontend, UI, and end-to-end tests.

• Participation in and continuous optimization of our quality assurance processes with a focus on user experience and modern user interfaces.

• Planning, execution, coordination, and monitoring of software tests including meaningful reporting.

• Design and implementation of automated regression, cross-browser, performance, accessibility, and security tests.

• Ensuring high quality of modern web applications across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

• Implementation of a sustainable continuous testing strategy in collaboration with development, product owners, and UX/UI teams.

• Consulting and sparring partner for development, Product Owner, and management in the areas of product quality, test coverage, and usability.

What we offer

• Your salary: Depending on your qualifications and experience, your gross monthly salary ranges between EUR 3,500 and EUR 4,200.

Qualifications

• Very good understanding of modern web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Know-how in the areas of Responsive Design, Cross-Browser Compatibility, Accessibility, and UI/UX Quality.

• Independent, solution-oriented work approach with a hands-on mentality and team spirit.

• High quality standards and enjoyment in continuously improving products.

• Very good German and English skills (German at least C1).

Experience

• Several years of experience in test automation of web applications, e.g., with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Serenity BDD, Jest, or similar tools.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab, as well as proficient handling of Git.

• Nice to have: Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue, knowledge of healthcare standards like HL7, DICOM, or IHE.

Education

• Completed education in the field of computer science, software development, or a comparable qualification.
