Frontend Developer

For our client in the private banking sector, we are currently looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to join their team in Zurich.

In this role, you will focus on building and enhancing modern financial platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a React-based design system, ensuring consistency across the platform
• Design & Implementation: Work closely with business and UX teams to build intuitive and high-quality features
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code following best practices (code reviews, testing, CI/CD)
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues in both development and production environments
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

• Strong experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, with solid React expertise
• Experience with Node.js and modern web technologies
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments and basic scripting
• Experience with cloud platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure)
• Knowledge of microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of API security (e.g. OAuth2)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Comfortable working in agile environments
