Frontend React Developer (m/w/d)

Your Mission

As a Frontend React Developer (m/f/d), you will design user-friendly interfaces for applications in the public sector and bring features live from idea to release. You will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Implementation of modern frontend components with React
• Planning and implementation of new features in existing React applications
• Qualitative development according to coding guidelines and test specifications (code reviews, clean structure, reusability)
• Close collaboration with UX, Backend, and QA – from requirements to go-live
• Focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability

What's Important to Us

• At least five years of experience and very good practical knowledge of React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Clean, maintainable code (state management, hooks, testing mindset)
• Experience in collaborative setups (Git, code reviews, ticket workflows)
• Knowledge of Playwright (E2E tests), BITV, and basic Java for interfaces are a plus, but not a must
• Structured, self-reliant way of working and team spirit
• Very good German skills (at least C1 level) and conversational English skills
