About The Role

We are seeking a versatile Frontend/Full Stack Web Developer specializing in PHP and Vue.js to join our dynamic team in Berlin-Tempelhof. In this role, you will engage in a broad spectrum of development activities, including frontend design, UI/UX improvements, backend API enhancements, and DevOps tasks. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working across different parts of the technology stack and thrives in a collaborative environment. Your contributions will directly influence the user experience of our industry-leading software products used by clients around the globe. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects, including integrating AI tools into our workflows and products, and participate in maintaining and evolving our video transcoding pipelines. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess solid experience with Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks, demonstrating proficiency in creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Strong knowledge of PHP, ideally with experience in Yii2 or comparable frameworks, is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with a proven track record in UI/UX design and implementation. The ability to independently make design decisions and a keen eye for user experience are highly valued. Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive mindset are crucial, as the role involves working on diverse tasks and innovative projects. Additional skills that are advantageous include experience with AI-driven development, familiarity with agentic AI systems such as Claude Code or Codex, and knowledge of component libraries like Element+ or Quasar. Experience in video encoding/transcoding with tools like FFMPEG, as well as expertise in security and performance optimization, will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, intuitive web interfaces using Vue.js and Element+ or Quasar components.
• Contribute to the UI/UX design process, from wireframes to final implementation, ensuring an optimal user experience.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services based on PHP and Yii2 frameworks.
• Evaluate and integrate AI tools and agents into existing workflows and products to enhance automation and functionality.
• Participate in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline development, deployment, and server management.
• Conduct systematic bug analysis, troubleshooting, and quality assurance across the entire technology stack.
• Work with embedded video players and manage video transcoding pipelines utilizing FFMPEG and related technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve system performance, security, and scalability.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in web development, AI integration, and video technology to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.
