Lead consumer-driven marketing that elevates brand impact and accelerates growth across the DACH region.
Proclinical is seeking a Marketing Manager for a fixed-term contract in the DACH region. This role focuses on developing and executing consumer-focused marketing strategies to strengthen brand awareness and drive growth within the diabetes and medical devices sector. You will shape insight-led campaigns, collaborate across internal teams, and manage external agencies to ensure impactful delivery across all marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Analyze consumer trends, digital behaviors, and competitive dynamics to anticipate market needs.
- Develop insights, personas, and knowledge of the DACH region and local healthcare environment.
- Translate insights into actionable marketing tactics and communicate them across the organization.
- Lead the development and execution of regional DTC strategies, including target segments, value propositions, and competitive positioning.
- Drive brand performance through integrated DTC marketing programs focused on awareness, interest, consideration, and conversion.
- Develop and execute commercial launch assets, including strategies, tactics, KPIs, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage consumer-facing digital channels such as websites, landing pages, email, and social platforms.
- Implement performance marketing across paid social, search, display, and programmatic channels.
- Optimize conversion rates through A/B testing and performance analytics.
- Build dashboards to track KPIs and optimize channel investments.
- Collaborate with PR and media agencies for storytelling, press releases, and media engagement.
- Ensure consistent and integrated communications across channels.
- Develop structured, insight-driven social media content plans aligned with brand objectives.
- Oversee community management and advocacy-oriented activities, including events and partnerships.
- Design and execute demand-generation activities to support growth in the AID systems category.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements across all DTC activities.
- Manage content submissions and approval workflows using Veeva, ensuring documentation and audit-readiness.
- Collaborate across regional, international, and global teams.
- Oversee regional DTC budgets and ensure optimized spending.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in consumer marketing, ideally within med-tech or diabetes-related sectors.
- Strategic thinking capabilities with a forward-looking perspective.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience managing agencies and non-profit organizations.
- Ability to influence senior-level stakeholders without direct authority.
- Familiarity with complex competitive markets.
- Significant travel required to meet partners and support regional activities.
- Digital marketing expertise, including SEA, SEO, social media, and performance marketing.
- Customer-centric mindset and project management excellence.
- Analytical capabilities and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Experience with approval workflows and systems like Veeva.
