At Outmarket, we're not just building another AI tool-we're transforming the $1T commercial insurance industry. Our platform helps brokers, MGAs, and carriers unlock insights from their own data and automate key workflows like policy review, quote comparison, and market appetite search. We're looking for Full Stack AI Engineers to work alongside an accomplished team of experienced AI and Full Stack Engineers and building products that move fast and scale smart. You'll work with the co-founders and a team from Meta, IBM, Adobe, and Uber, solving high-impact problems across AI, product, and implementation.

Outmarket is truly an AI First team, we code in cursor, we design with bolt, we think alongside claude and gemini and open AI tools and we embed AI not only in every part of our software, but also in our infra, and our operations.

You'll partner closely with Vishal (Founder & CEO, ex-Uber, Meta, Ethos) and Anshu (Co-Founder & CTO, ex-Meta, Ethos, early IBM Watson AI team)

You'll ship fast and iterate in the field-this isn't a research role, it's AI with outcomes

You'll help shape both the product and the customer experience as we scale

What You'll Do

• Work directly with insurance brokers, MGAs, and carriers to deploy AI-powered solutions to their specific workflows
• Use large language models, embeddings, and structured data pipelines to build features like document review, entity extraction, and quote comparison
• Rapidly prototype and productionize features based on customer needs and feedback
• Collaborate with sales, success, and product teams to prioritize high-leverage initiatives
• Build reusable components that can scale across customers and use cases

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in ML, NLP, or LLM-based systems (or 3+ years in software engineering with strong interest in AI)
• Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries like LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI, or vector databases
• Experience working with SQL and Databases
• Ability to rapidly understand messy real-world data and ship working solutions
• Bias for action, high ownership, and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment

Bonus If You Have

• Experience working with unstructured documents (PDFs, insurance policies, etc.)
• Deep Expertise in one or more of Postgres, React, Python
• Previous experience with an early stage startup
