Our client is looking for an Advanced Full Stack Developer to join a specialized team focused on enhancing connectivity and security for SAP SaaS solutions.

You will play a key role in providing high-class, stable platforms by defending transactional environments from threats and optimizing User Access Management and Single-Sign-On capabilities.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical theory and practical implementation, delivering scalable backend components while crafting responsive front-end interfaces. Working mostly autonomously, you will collaborate with global teams to ensure operational quality across a diverse SAP landscape.

Technical Excellence & Leadership

• Angular Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Angular framework, including Components, Modules, Services, Dependency Injection, and Lifecycle hooks.
• TypeScript Mastery: Strong ability to write TypeScript, utilizing interfaces and generics to build robust applications.
• Backend Innovation: Expertly design and implement scalable backend components and integrate microservices for seamless system communication.
• Mentorship & Quality: Provide guidance to junior employees and verify that solutions address identified problems while maintaining clean, well-documented code.

Position Details

• Contract Dates: 01-08-2026 to 31-12-2028.
• Location: Midrand / Menlyn / Rosslyn / Home Office Rotation.
• Level: Advanced 4-6 Years related experience
• Work Arrangement: 1960 hours per 12-month period with high work-life balance and remote flexibility.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant IT degree or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years in a junior-to-mid role with a total of 3+ years of professional experience.
• Essential: Effective communication skills in English and the ability to work in cross-cultural environments.
• Advantageous: Experience with SAP solutions and agile collaboration with internal and external teams.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• Front-end Development: Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 responsive layouts, Flexbox, and Grid.
• Build Tools: Strong programming experience with comprehensive build tool knowledge.
• Core Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.

Advantageous Skills

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab).
• Knowledge of UX practices, design tools, and web/cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-native observability, monitoring practices, and DevOps culture.
• High motivation to learn about specific tool solutions and agile working models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented backend code to implement application logic.
• Design and integrate microservices to enable front-end and back-end communication.
• Implement responsive and accessible front-end interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver features.
• Apply test-driven development practices and maintain unit and integration test suites.
• Collaborate closely with IT providers and operations teams to manage deployments and incident resolution.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and follow coding standards and industry best practices.
• Contribute to design and architecture discussions.
