Full Stack Developer

Octagon Professionals is one of the main service providers supporting the European Space Agency, and we are expanding our digital and application support team. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who enjoys building reliable, user-friendly web applications in an international, technical environment.

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based in one of the following countries: Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom.

In this role, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of progressive web applications, working across the full development lifecycle. You will contribute to both frontend and backend components, integrate cloud services, and automate processes.

Responsibilities • Develop progressive web applications using Angular and Node.js. • Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure reliable system integration. • Develop and optimise SQL databases and queries, supporting robust data structures and performance. • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using Azure services and modern development practices. • Translate technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions and contribute to technical documentation. • Participate in testing, documentation, and quality assurance activities to ensure consistent delivery standards.

Requirements • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full stack development. • Strong knowledge of Angular, Node.js, Angular Material, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. • Proficiency in SQL and relational database design. • Experience with API design and integration. • Familiarity with Azure services, deployment, and monitoring. • Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Experience developing applications in technically demanding environments such as aerospace, research, or engineering. • Understanding of IT security, data protection, and software lifecycle management. • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages).
