Your Role

Become part of our IT team (m/f/d) in Höhr-Grenzhausen (near Koblenz) full-time (40 hrs/week). We are not looking for "checklist fillers", but for developers who are eager to contribute to software development as well as platform and DevOps topics.

Responsibilities

Software Development:

• Development and maintenance of modern backend web applications with Go
• Conception and implementation of REST and gRPC APIs
• Support in the further development of our frontends with Svelte, Vue.js, or comparable frameworks
• Implementation of clean software architectures and ensuring code quality through tests and reviews
• Use of modern AI-supported development tools (e.g., Claude or similar assistance systems) to support development, debugging, and architecture work
• Collaboration with other developers and departments on the technical implementation of new features

DevOps & Platform:

• Planning, implementation, and continuous optimization of modern CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment
• Further development and operation of our GitOps-based deployment processes
• Setup, operation, and scaling of containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters
• Automated infrastructure management with Infrastructure as Code
• Implementation and further development of observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing)
• Ensuring the stability, performance, security, and scalability of our system landscape
• Integration of security and quality checks into build and deployment processes
• Technical documentation and active knowledge transfer within the team

Qualifications

• Experience in developing backend services, e.g., with Go or comparable languages
• Interest or experience in frontend development, e.g., with modern frameworks like Vue.js, Svelte, or similar technologies
• Experience with container technologies (Docker) or platforms like Kubernetes
• Initial experience or interest in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Interest in cloud-native architectures and modern deployment strategies
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, or observability
• Experience with Git-based development processes
• Curiosity about AI-supported software development and modern developer tools
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
