HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our growing software engineering team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the entire technology stack—front end, back end, APIs, databases, and cloud environments—to deliver secure, scalable, and high performing applications for mission critical systems.

We’re looking for a developer who can seamlessly blend modern frontend frameworks with robust backend engineering, while contributing to architecture, system design, and full lifecycle development.

Requirements

I have already done that or have it!

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; OR 3+ years with a Master’s; OR 0 years with a PhD/JD; OR 9+ years relevant experience with a high school diploma.
• Current Secret U.S. Government security clearance, with ability to upgrade.
• U.S. citizenship (required).
• Experience across the software stack, including front-end frameworks (Vue, React, Angular) and backend development.
• Ability to obtain IATT Level 2 Compliance (Security+, CySA+, SSCP) within 60 days.
• Hands‑on experience with agile development processes.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools (Git, Nexus, Maven).
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
• Hybrid work availability: 1–2 days/month on site in Odenton, MD, with flexibility for schedule changes.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with AGILE methodologies and modern development tool suites (Jira, Confluence, You Track, Git Hub).
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Comfortable working in Linux and command line environments.
• Experience with system architecture, API design, or cloud‑native development is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements Software Engineer family.
