Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer Java (w/m/d), you will significantly shape the further development of our product and bring your technical expertise to every phase of product development – from the idea through architecture to the finished feature.

• Full-Stack Engineering: You develop features end-to-end – from backend logic in Java via clean APIs to a performant frontend in Angular (TypeScript).
• Cross-functional Work: You work in a product team where development, requirements engineering, and testing jointly design solutions.
• Quality Standards: You focus on clean code, clear architecture, and sustainable implementations instead of quick-and-dirty solutions.
• Engineering Culture: You work closely with other engineers, give and receive constructive feedback in code reviews, and ensure high code quality through automated tests, solid documentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in object-oriented programming languages (ideally Java and Angular/TypeScript)
• Understanding of distributed software architectures and modern backend patterns.
• Reliable implementation of REST APIs, including clean API design and versioning.
• Know-how in OpenAPI, JUnit, Oracle, and SQL, as well as routine in handling relational databases.
• Experience with tools like Postman and Java monitoring tools (e.g., jProfiler, Java VisualVM) is an advantage.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical contexts and communicate them clearly.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders.

We offer a minimum gross starting salary of € 3,267.00 per month for this position on a full-time basis (38.5 hours per week). The actual salary will be calculated based on previous employment, qualifications, professional experience, and the collective agreement.
