What You Will Be Doing

• Deliver Complete Full-Stack Features: Transform user stories from concept through production; define requirements, architect scalable approaches, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and deploy
• Identify and Resolve Bugs: Conduct root cause investigations, address underlying issues rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent testing strategies
• Elevate Code Standards: Assess design proposals and pull requests to maintain clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt accumulation

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems as ends in themselves
• Executing specifications without grasping the underlying problem context
• Spending time in prolonged meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating across teams

Full Stack Developer Key Responsibilities

• Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, delivers rapidly, and remains maintainable over time

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
• Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
• Self-directed execution: Capability to remove your own blockers, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward through ambiguous contexts
• Hands-on experience incorporating generative A.I. into daily development workflows

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
