Full Stack Developer - MERN Stack Technologies

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in the MERN (MongoDB / MySQL, Express.js, React, and Node.js) stack to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and deploying robust web applications, a solid understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues and bugs across the stack.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and mentor junior developers as needed.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development, particularly within the MERN ecosystem.

Technical Skills

• Frontend: Strong proficiency in React, Next.Js with experience in React Hooks, Redux, and component-driven architecture.
• Backend: Expertise in Node.js, Nest.js and Express.js, including building RESTful APIs and using middleware for robust server-side logic.
• Database: In-depth knowledge of MongoDB & MySQL, including schema design, indexing, aggregation, and query optimization.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., Gitflow).
• Deployment & DevOps: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Other Tools/Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), JSON, WebSockets, and experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on MERN stack.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end projects in an Agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

• Knowledge of additional frameworks or libraries such as Next.js, GraphQL, or TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
