Scope of Work

The Developer will be responsible for end-to-end software engineering activities including:

  • Discovery, solution design, and implementation
  • Integration, testing, and documentation
  • Deployment support and knowledge transfer

Delivery will be executed in agile iterations, with priorities managed via Treasury backlogs and coordinated across related projects such as:

  • Pipeline & Monitoring
  • Missed Repayments / Client Default Tracking
  • CRM / Dynamics process automation

The Developer will work in alignment with SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework) principles, participating in PI Planning, Iteration Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events, ensuring deliverables meet agile governance, security, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise solutions in agile teams
  • Backend: .NET Core / .NET 6+ – strong experience building RESTful APIs, dependency injection, middleware, and performance tuning
  • Frontend: React.js – component-driven design, state management (Redux or equivalent), and responsive UI development
  • Azure platform experience – working knowledge of App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and secure configuration practices
  • Integration skills – experience designing and implementing REST APIs, message-based integrations (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Event Grid), and handling data protection/PII
  • DevOps & tooling – proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automated unit/integration testing (e.g., xUnit, Jest)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions
  • Clear stakeholder communication and collaboration skills; experience working with distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform experience – familiarity with model-driven apps, Power Automate flows, customizations, and solution packaging
  • Experience with cloud messaging/event architectures such as Kafka or advanced Azure Event Grid scenarios
  • Knowledge of application security best practices, threat modelling, and secure coding standards
  • Previous exposure to finance or payments domain projects (e.g., repayments, credit lifecycle)
  • Certification(s) such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer or similar
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana)
