Full Stack Developer, with focus on Dev/SecOps (AWS experience, strong programming skills with Python, SQL experience (SAS experience a plus), Strong Gitlab/TF skills)

Responsibilities

• Application Developer performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents.
• The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.
• The candidate should be able to understand the application flow and requirements to design and implement CICD suite using Gitlab/TF.
• This role will be on a team supporting business with design and implementation on target state asset for a time sensitive decommission project

Skills

• Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed
• Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of client s internal customers
• Proficient with AWS platform and services (EMR, Lambda, SNS, SQS, ECS Fargate, Batch, Event bridge, CloudWatch etc)
• Hands on experience implementing CICD solution with Gitlab/TF

Education/Work Experience

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Professional certification(s) desired
• 10 plus years software development experience across the appropriate platform
• Solid IT background and experience.
• Experience as application developer for projects similar in scope and responsibility
