Profile: Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a high-impact Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer to join our lean, fast‑moving engineering team. In this role, you won't just be taking tickets; you will be a key contributor to our product architecture and user experience.

As a team led by engineers, we value clean code, architectural thinking, and a flat culture where your ideas carry as much weight as your code. You will work directly with our leadership team to build scalable features on a modern PHP/TypeScript stack.

Technical Ecosystem

• Backend: PHP 8.x & Laravel 12+ (Rest APIs, Job Queues, Service Patterns)
• Frontend: React 18 & Next.js (App Router, Server Components, TypeScript)
• Styling/UI: Tailwind CSS (Experience with shadcn/ui is a major plus)
• Infrastructure: AWS (Deploying via CI/CD, managing S3, RDS, Lambda, and EC2)
• Database: MySQL / PostgreSQL

Your Impact (Day-to-Day)

• End-to-End Ownership: Take features from concept through to Laravel backend implementation and a polished Next.js frontend.
• Architectural Input: Participate in design sessions to ensure our data models and API contracts scale.
• Cloud Management: Assist in deploying and monitoring services within our AWS environment.
• Operational Excellence: You won't just deploy; you'll own the observability of your features, debugging production issues, and optimizing performance in AWS.
• Collaborative Growth: Engage in meaningful code reviews and help maintain our "zero-ego" engineering culture.
• QA Alignment: Work alongside our QA lead to implement automated tests (Pest and Playwright).
• AI Integration: Work on implementing AI‑driven features and agents to enhance product capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Async Communication: You can explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing (Slack/Jira/PRs) to bridge time zones.
• Development Skills: Proven experience shipping full‑stack applications to production.
• 2+ Years Experience: Understanding of the why behind patterns like Dependency Injection or React Hooks.
• Laravel Proficiency: Strong command of the Laravel framework and modern PHP practices.
• Modern Frontend Skills: Deep understanding of React and the Next.js ecosystem.
• Bonus – NestJS/Node.js: Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) NestJS and TypeScript.
• Bonus – AI/LLMs: Interest or experience in building with AI Agents, OpenAI/Gemini APIs.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Care about the product and the user experience, not just the code.
• AWS Familiarity: Comfortable navigating the AWS Console and understanding cloud deployments.
