CapitalFlow GmbH
About the role
About CapitalFlow
We are redefining how financial advice works in Germany.
The insurance and finance industry is one of the largest industries in the country – and technologically, it's stuck in 2005. Broken processes, cobbled-together tools, zero scalability.
CapitalFlow is the platform that advisors use live in customer conversations – a continuous system from data capture to the finished report. No concept. A product in daily use.
Over 800 paying users. 400% growth last year. 100% bootstrapped. And we're just getting started.
Responsibilities
You work directly with the CTO – not as a ticket-pusher, but as someone who independently implements features end-to-end. From conception to production deployment.
What this means in concrete terms: You take responsibility for entire feature areas, participate in architectural decisions, and see what you've built the next day in real customer conversations.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer in the Node.js ecosystem
- Solid TypeScript knowledge
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Next.js and/or NestJS – ideally both, one of them is mandatory
- You can implement features independently end-to-end – from conception to production deployment
- Basic knowledge of AWS
Bonus: Experience with monorepos (Turborepo), testing with Jest and/or Playwright
You don't need financial knowledge. You need the desire to build a complex product that changes an entire industry.
Benefits
- Real product, real users. What you build, people use the next day in real customer conversations. No feature graveyard.
- Ownership. Small team, short paths, big impact. No five hierarchy levels between you and a decision.
- Growth. 400% last year – and that's just the beginning. Those who take responsibility early grow with the company. Including the possibility of company shares.
- Office. Old building city villa near Hölderlinplatz in Stuttgart. Hybrid – but an office you like to be in.
- Equipment. MacBook, everything you need.
- Team. Joint events, trips, a team that builds together and celebrates together.
Our Process
Our process is short and direct:
- Get to know each other – short conversation to see if the direction fits
- Technical Interview – architecture and code
- Trial Day in the Stuttgart office – work together, get to know the team
- Offer & Start
If you are ready to work on a product that is truly used – apply now.
