Full-Stack Engineer | VC-backed AI startup | Remote

About the Role

Here at Venchr we’re working with a fast‑growing VC-backed AI startup based in London that’s on a mission to make complex data systems simple, transparent, and intelligent. Their platform combines LLMs, machine learning and cloud‑native architecture to help organisations truly understand and manage their data ecosystems.

They’re looking for one of their first engineering hires—someone who wants to help shape the product from the ground up and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Responsibilities

• Build APIs and backend services with C# and .NET 8+
• Craft front‑end experiences using Next.js and TypeScript
• Work in a modern Azure environment with tools like Functions, Container Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus
• Contribute to decisions around architecture, performance and developer experience
• Collaborate in a DevOps‑driven culture where shipping fast and iterating is the norm
• Experiment with AI and find creative ways to solve problems

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a full‑stack or backend engineer
• Strong in C#/.NET and Next.js/TypeScript
• Ideally experience with serverless or containerised applications
• Azure experience is a bonus
• Comfortable working with autonomy, taking ownership and moving quickly
• Confident sharing ideas and work; strong communication and collaboration skills
• Pragmatic approach to AI—knowing when it’s the right tool and when to rely on personal judgement
