As a Full Stack Engineering Manager, you are a self-directed engineer responsible for every phase of project execution — from discovery and design through to delivery and support. You will prioritize and execute complex initiatives, ensuring a balance between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability while directly engaging with clients and stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of complex features and systems, taking full ownership of outcomes.
- Architect solutions, implement high-quality code, and ensure reliability, performance, and test coverage throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify technical debt, scalability concerns, and opportunities for modernization, driving improvements in frameworks, tooling, and infrastructure.
- Champion best practices around testing, observability, and maintainability.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and collaborate effectively with product, operations, and other departments to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Engage directly with clients to communicate technical concepts, project progress, trade-offs, and recommendations with clarity.
Travel Requirements: This role may require travel, which can vary from 0 to 100% based on business needs and client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) of work experience; Associate's degree requires a minimum of 6 years work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on programming experience with Python, including writing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality code.
- At least 1 year of experience with two or more of the following: Linux Systems Administration, Docker/Kubernetes, modern JavaScript frameworks (like React or NodeJS), or DevOps.
- Minimum of 2 years in a platform engineering or developer role, with 1 year of experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Model (LLM), or High-Performance Computing (HPC).
- Proficient in Linux, with a deep understanding of operating systems at the kernel level.
- Knowledge of AWS services, particularly EC2, Lambda, EKS, and Fargate.
- Experience in full-stack application development, especially utilizing cloud provider APIs.
- Experience developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
