About the Role

At UDAO SkillsValley AG, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong frontend depth to help us build high-quality digital products with a modern TypeScript-first stack.

This role is ideal for someone who cares not only about delivering features, but also about how they are built: clear architecture, strong conventions, thoughtful UX, and maintainable code across the stack. You will work primarily on modern web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind, while also contributing to backend functionality, API design, and overall product quality.

You will join a team that values engineering quality, clean patterns, and long-term thinking. We already work with established conventions around frontend architecture, data fetching, error handling, internationalization, and reusable UI systems, and we are looking for someone who can contribute meaningfully within that environment while helping us continue to improve it.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications with a strong focus on frontend architecture, usability, performance, and production quality
• Own features end to end, from user interface implementation to backend support and data flow design
• Contribute to a convention-driven TypeScript codebase with clear patterns for naming, structure, validation, and error handling
• Turn product and design requirements into polished, intuitive user experiences with strong attention to detail
• Work within established architectural patterns for client-side state, asynchronous data handling, and modular feature organization
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews with a focus on readability, consistency, and long-term quality
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to shape solutions, challenge assumptions, and improve outcomes
• Help evolve shared UI patterns, reusable component systems, and the broader frontend platform over time

Technical Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with TypeScript and JavaScript in modern web applications
• Deep experience with React and Next.js, including modern rendering patterns and scalable frontend architecture
• Strong command of Tailwind CSS and experience building consistent, reusable UI components rather than one-off implementations
• Experience building full-stack features with Node.js and modern backend and API patterns
• Solid understanding of schema validation and type-safe application boundaries, especially with tools such as Zod
• Experience with structured client-side data fetching patterns, including TanStack Query or similar libraries
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining high code quality in collaborative environments
• Strong Git workflow experience in pull-request-driven teams
• Experience working with design systems or shared UI libraries
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment workflows such as Vercel, Supabase, AWS, or similar
• Experience implementing internationalization in production applications
• Strong problem-solving ability, including evaluating tradeoffs, simplifying complexity, and making sound technical decisions

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in web development, with strong expertise in modern frontend engineering
• Strong product and UI sensibility, with the ability to turn requirements into intuitive, polished user experiences
• Comfort working in a codebase with clear conventions and high expectations around consistency, naming, architecture, and maintainability
• Ability to build declarative, well-structured React applications and make sound judgments around state, side effects, and component design
• Care for edge cases and production quality, including loading, error, and empty states
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to ask the right questions, suggest improvements, and take ownership without excessive oversight

Nice to Have

• Experience with result-based error handling patterns and strongly typed API design
• Experience with modern RPC-style backend systems such as oRPC or similar approaches
• Experience with Postgres, Drizzle, row-level security, or similarly structured database layers
• Experience building AI-powered product features or integrating LLMs into real applications
• Deeper cloud infrastructure knowledge beyond standard application deployment
