Full Stack .NET / Angular Developer – Senior Consultant

About

A large state agency is modernizing its HR and financial systems and needs a senior developer who's actually worked in government IT before. Legacy systems, compliance requirements, multiple stakeholders — you know the drill. This isn't move-fast-break-things work. It's high-stakes, methodical, and the people depending on these systems need them to work.

You'll build, modernize, integrate, and document. You'll work directly with HR, Finance, and IT teams and be expected to operate with minimal hand-holding.

Requirements

• 5+ years with Angular (PrimeNG specifically), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• 5+ years ASP.NET Core — APIs and backend services
• 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server — stored procedures, data modeling, query optimization
• 3+ years DevOps — CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments
• 5+ years manual AND automated testing across the full SDLC
• Solid technical documentation skills
• Working knowledge of NIST, HIPAA, or CJIS
• Power BI or data pipeline experience
• Azure or cloud infrastructure familiarity
• SharePoint or enterprise content management experience
• Government or highly regulated environment experience — strongly preferred
• Bachelor's/Master's in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• You've worked inside or directly supported a state/county agency
• You've navigated legacy modernization in government — you know how to move carefully
• You've worked with state ERP/financial platforms like SCEIS or similar

Logistics

• Must live in the Eastern Time Zone.
• Onsite in Cayce, SC required — relocation at your expense.
• Background check (criminal + credit, 7-year), E-Verify, Confidentiality + BAA required.
• No visa sponsorship.
• U.S. work authorization only.
