Full Stack .NET Developer

Full Stack .NET Software Developer About the job:

Kaleidocode is an exciting software development consultancy that is looking for talented and experienced full stack .NET Software Developers with a minimum of 3 years coding experience in a commercial software development team. We have multiple client projects needing additional developers.

Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. • ​Develop and maintain relational databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security. • Implement front-end features using modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue). • ​Build and integrate back-end services with RESTful APIs using C#. • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software. • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.

Requirements: • Proven experience as a Software Developer with a focus on full-stack development. • Proficiency in SQL and database design. • Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. • Proficient in back-end development with technologies such as .NET, Node.js, Python, or Java. • MVC ASP.NET experience advantageous (for certain projects). • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

The ideal candidate would have: • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently • Ability to work in a variety of client settings and in a team-oriented environment • Passion for the software industry and a wide interest in technology • Good communication skills • ​Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in IT or Computer Science

Location

Kaleidocode (Pty) Ltd is based in Durban, KZN, South Africa. Remote applications are welcome, but visits to our Durban offices or client sites may be required.

Salary Salary offered will be commensurate with level of skill and experience.
