Senior Full-Stack Developer

About

On behalf of our client in the financial services sector, we are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to drive digital strategy through the design and maintenance of secure, scalable web and mobile applications. This is a high-impact role building internal and external platforms, including digital banking applications, using the Microsoft technology stack and Optimizely CMS/Commerce (DXP).

What You’ll Do

• Enterprise Development: Design and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Modern Front-End: Build responsive interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
• API & Integration: Design RESTful/SOAP APIs using Web API and WCF to integrate with backend systems.
• Database Management: Support data modeling and schema design using SQL Server and Oracle.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Utilize tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to validate designs and improve usability.
• Agile Excellence: Participate in Scrum ceremonies and manage activities via Azure DevOps/TFS.

What We’re Seeking

• Financial Domain Expertise: Mandatory experience and knowledge of the banking/financial industry.
• Local Talent: Must be based in the Queens/NYC area for hybrid requirements.
• Technical Tenure: 5+ years of software development experience on the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET Core, Razor, ADO.NET).
• Front-End Mastery: 5+ years of experience building interactive UIs with modern frameworks.
• Database Proficiency: 3+ years of T-SQL development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• API Expertise: 2+ years of experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP services.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Optimizely CMS/Commerce or Digital Experience Platforms (DXP).
• Advanced knowledge of secure application development and security controls in .NET.
• Skill in illustrating concepts through wireframes and workflow diagrams.
