Full Stack NextJS Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic developers to join our engineering team as Full Stack Developers. You will work across the entire stack — building sleek frontends with React and Next.js, and robust backends with Node.js and NestJS. What sets this role apart is our expectation that you actively use AI coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate your development workflow. We don’t just allow AI-assisted coding — we encourage it.

Duties

• Develop and maintain responsive, performant web applications using React and Next.js on the frontend.

• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and NestJS on the backend.

• Write clean, well-documented TypeScript/JavaScript code following team conventions and best practices.

• Leverage AI coding assistants (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to write, debug, refactor, and review code faster.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior engineers in an agile development environment.

• Participate in code reviews, give and receive constructive feedback, and continuously improve code quality.

• Write unit and integration tests to maintain reliability across the application.

• Contribute to technical documentation, internal wikis, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and AI-powered developer tools.

• Basic understanding of data modeling, Postgres, MongoDB.

• Basic integration knowledge with systems like Supabase and Firebase.

Must-Have Skills

• JavaScript / TypeScript: Solid understanding of ES6+ syntax, async/await, and type safety with TypeScript.

• React: Experience building components, managing state (Context API, Redux, or Zustand), and working with hooks.

• Next.js: Familiarity with SSR, SSG, API routes, file-based routing, and the App Router.

• Node.js: Comfortable writing server-side logic, handling HTTP requests, and working with npm/yarn.

• NestJS: Basic understanding of modules, controllers, services, dependency injection, and decorators.

• AI for Coding: Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to write, debug, and refactor code efficiently.

• Git & Version Control: Proficiency with Git workflows — branching, pull requests, merge conflicts, and commit hygiene.

• Problem Solving: Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and logical thinking.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, Railway).

• Understanding of authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth2, session-based auth).

• Exposure to GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time communication.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal GitHub portfolio.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

• Basic understanding of prompt engineering and working with AI APIs.
