Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to understand business needs and convert them into high-quality software solutions.
  • Work alongside the Scrum Master to optimize team performance and ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of software.
  • Participate actively in an Agile environment, adapting to an evolving space with new challenges.
  • As a full stack developer, estimate and plan work items, contribute to UI/UX designs, develop and test web applications, and support customer service and troubleshooting.
  • Continuously seek to enhance personal and team performance through effective communication, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve product outcomes.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to ensure the success of the customer and the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in software development paired with a technical Bachelor's degree.
  • Alternatives: Master's degree with no experience or Associate's degree with 9 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in developing web applications using .NET/C#.
  • Experience with SQL Server or similar databases.
  • Familiarity with collaborative development practices and source code control systems.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented principles and classical design patterns.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile Scrum environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective team interaction across remote locations.
  • Demonstrated positive customer service approach.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Eligibility: U.S. citizen or green card permanent resident with a minimum of 3 years U.S. residency.

Desired Qualifications

  • A portfolio showcasing previous work is preferred.
  • Experience with MVC frameworks.
  • Expertise in creating and consuming web services.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js or Backbone.js.
  • Experience in data visualization and analysis.
  • Enthusiasm for research and staying current with technology trends.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
  • Familiarity with third-party application integrations.
  • Experience in mobile application development.
  • Knowledge of Agile processes is a plus.
  • Previous experience with the Federal Aviation Administration is advantageous.
