Full-stack AI Engineer

About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic and agile AI team within TDI, focusing on the development and implementation of intelligent, agent-based AI solutions. The focus is on the design, construction, and deployment of autonomous AI agents that take on complex tasks, integrate seamlessly into enterprise systems, and learn from their operational environments. As a member of our engineering team, you will work on the further development of AI applications and full-stack AI solutions based on Python, Large Language Models, agent architectures, and prompt engineering. In close cooperation with colleagues from TDI, you will support the implementation of new AI use cases, contribute to design documentation, and ensure compliant development and integration into company-wide workflows.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You design, implement, and operate full stack AI solutions, covering database design, Python based microservices, and modern web frontends, while ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant environments for AI workloads.
• You build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support reliable development, testing, and deployment of AI and ML applications.
• You contribute to the training, fine tuning, and deployment of AI models and ensure their robustness and performance across diverse production environments.
• You design and implement agentic AI use cases, including multi agent workflows and custom function tools.
• You configure and integrate MCP servers, develop Python based tools, ETL pipelines, and microservices, and streamline AI agent provisioning across OpenShift and Google Kubernetes Engine.

Your Skills and Experiences

• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in DevOps, AI, Python, data analytics, or AI-related projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in German is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ethical awareness and a commitment to responsible AI adoption.
• Strong experience with Python, Google ADK, GCP, vector databases, DevOps, Github, Terraform, and in the implementation and deployment of microservice architectures.
