Driven by a shared passion for excellence, we help visionary brands grow by aligning commerce strategy, digital experience, and technology implementation to deliver innovative, data-driven digital commerce solutions.

Role Overview

Datmos is hiring a Full-Stack Developer / DevOPS!

Reporting to the Director of AI, the Fullstack Developer/DevOps is responsible for transforming AI models into production-grade products, ensuring they are secure, performant, and accessible. You bridge the gap between AI engineering and the end-user by building fluid interfaces and robust cloud infrastructures. Working as a player-coach within the Task Force, you set the standards for how AI applications are deployed and integrated. You handle the "plumbing" of our AI operations, from ETL pipelines and data lakes to API management and automated CI/CD flows.

Key Responsibilities

  • UI/UX for AI: Build intuitive, responsive dashboards and interfaces that make complex AI interactions simple for internal and client users.
  • Infrastructure & API Management: Design and maintain the cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) required to host AI apps and manage API connections.
  • Data Engineering & ETL: Build robust ETL pipelines to ingest, clean, and move data into data lakes for AI processing.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all AI products meet rigorous data privacy standards, especially when handling sensitive client information.
  • Automation Workflows: Implement cloud-based automation
  • DevOps Excellence: Establish CI/CD pipelines to ensure the AI Task Force can deploy updates rapidly and reliably.
  • Data Lake / Warehouse Management: Design, maintain, and optimize data lake architectures (S3/ADLS/GCS) and warehouse layers (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery), including partitioning strategies, schema governance, and cost optimization.
  • Data Lineage & Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data flows, transformation logic, and source-to-target mappings to support auditability and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Agency Experience: 3+ years of experience in an agency environment (or fast-paced consulting).
  • AI Proficiency: Demonstrated interest in AI tools with at least 2-3 documented use cases applied to current or past projects.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience, mastery of frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend environments (Node.js/Python).
  • Data Modeling: Proficiency in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks for maintaining clean, versioned data models.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code for Data: Ability to provision and version data infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring reproducibility across environments (dev/staging/prod).
  • Automation/Data: Proven experience building ETL pipelines and connecting third-party APIs
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience managing cloud services, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
  • API Integration: Deep expertise in connecting disparate systems via REST/GraphQL APIs and managing authentication.
  • Data Architecture: Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and building data pipelines for large-scale ingestion.
  • Security Mindset: Strong understanding of web security, encryption, and data residency requirements.
  • Agile Deployment: Ability to build and iterate on products in a fast-paced environment with a focus on "shipping" high-quality code.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (an asset)
