Fullstack Java Developer (m/w/d)

For our client, an established IT consulting company focusing on modern software development and cloud-based applications, we are currently looking for a Fullstack Java Developer (m/f/d) for direct permanent employment.

In this role, you will develop scalable web applications and microservices with modern technologies around Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms. You will work on challenging software projects, contribute your experience in both backend and frontend, and support the deployment of applications in containerized and cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Development of modern web applications in a fullstack environment with a focus on Java backend
• Implementation of microservices and REST APIs with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Contribution to frontend components of modern web applications
• Deployment and operation of applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Support for deploying containerized applications in Kubernetes environments
• Implementation of unit tests with JUnit and participation in test automation
• Contribution to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in agile development projects
• Ensuring code quality and maintainability through modern development practices

Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in software development with Java
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Experience in developing backend services and web applications
• Experience with unit tests (JUnit) and test automation
• Initial practical experience with Kubernetes or container-based deployments
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or comparable)
• Basic DevOps know-how (CI/CD, containers, build pipelines)
• Experience with agile development methods
• Structured way of working, team spirit, and quality awareness
