Role Description

• The Fullstack Software Engineer - DataPebbles Leiden will be responsible for building, designing, and maintaining robust software solutions that leverage DataPebbles capabilities in data and AI.
• We work with a variety of verticals.
• Day-to-day tasks include back-end web and software development, debugging, implementing features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring scalable and secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver full-stack applications (frontend + backend)
• Develop APIs and backend services
• Design user-friendly, data-driven interfaces
• Work with large datasets and analytics platforms
• Take solutions from PoC to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• Contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing

Who You Are

• 3–5 years experience in full-stack software engineering
• Comfortable working across the stack
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, cloud environments, and scalable application design
• Strong problem-solver with a user-focused mindset
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• Strong communication skills and a strong eagerness to achieve high results through collaboration with colleagues
• Based in the Netherlands (Dutch is a plus)

Tech Stack Requirements

• Full-Stack Development

  • Building applications end-to-end (PoC → production)
  • Frontend: Vue.js (preferred), React, or Angular
  • Backend: Python (FastAPI, Flask)
  • REST API design and integration

• Data & Systems

  • Experience with data-intensive applications
  • Understanding of performance and scalability
  • Experience with analytics platforms is a plus
