While youâre applying for a particular area, please note that you may ultimately join a different part of our engineering organization, depending on where we believe you will have the most impact.
â Is it you weâre looking for?
We are looking for engineers with 3+ years of experience to help us scale our engineering community from different perspectives (product, tech, and internal organizationâwise).
- Youâll be able to tackle highâimpact & highârisk projects involving many engineers.
- Youâll design efficient systems and engineering practices to align with and facilitate interactions between multiple teams/products.
- Youâll have the opportunity to mentor other engineers & lead crews (more details in this article).
- Youâll be able to contribute to hiring your future coworkers and shape candidatesâ hiring experience (improving our technical assessment process etcâŚ).
You would be a good fit at Alan if most of this sounds like you:
- Wellâversed in Object Oriented Programming such as Python, Java, C#, and enthusiastic about web technologies such as modern Javascript.
- Willing to work in Python/JavaScript (but you donât need to have experience with those 2 languages!).
- Passionate about building products.
- Selfâstarting and entrepreneurial.
- Humble and still willing to grow (no matter your seniority!).
- Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching.
- Fluent in English (and speaking French ideally as the team is made of French natives currently!).
- At least 2 years of software engineering.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C1âF level range.
