Your Role

In this role, you will support us in the development, further development, and operation of our web-based applications for internal processes as well as external platforms for our customers. This includes, among others, knowledge platforms, digital tools for sample announcements, and other digital solutions to support our laboratory and service offerings.

Responsibilities

• Development and further development of our web-based applications and platforms
• Implementation of new functions in frontend and backend systems based on modern web technologies
• Development and maintenance of REST APIs for the integration of various systems and applications
• Support in the digitalization of laboratory and business processes through the development of internal web tools
• Analysis and implementation of business requirements in close coordination with specialist departments and project managers
• Maintenance, optimization, and further development of existing applications regarding performance, security, and user-friendliness
• Support in the deployment and operation of the applications

What You Bring

• Completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d), ideally specializing in application development, or a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable IT field, alternatively an equivalent qualification
• Initial professional experience in the development of modern web applications is desirable
• Good knowledge of modern web technologies, especially: Angular / TypeScript, PHP (ideally Laravel), HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript, ASP.NET
• Experience in the development and use of REST APIs
• Knowledge of working with relational databases
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Understanding of software architecture, web security, and performance optimization is an advantage
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Teamwork and strong communication skills in dealing with specialist departments
