Functional Analyst (Consumer Enrollment)

About the role
Overview
Join a Consumer Enrollment operations team supporting ACA marketplace (individual) enrollment. You’ll partner closely with external vendors/third-party administrators (TPAs) to help onboard new employer groups and ensure enrollment and payment files are processed accurately.
What you’ll do
- Participate in weekly vendor/TPA working sessions focused on enrollment and payment processing
- Support onboarding/implementation of new employer groups and TPAs into the enrollment channel
- Perform root-cause analysis on file/data issues and drive issues through resolution
- Troubleshoot EDI enrollment (834) processing issues; support payment-related investigations (including credit card payment discrepancies)
- Help create/maintain SOPs and operational documentation
- Assist with testing: define test approach, execute tests, and document results
- Provide operational support to internal partners (answer questions, share guidance/training as needed)
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- 2+ years in an operations/analyst-style role (level 2+)
- Hands-on experience with EDI transactions — specifically 834 enrollment files
- Strong Excel (pivot tables, queries) and strong Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication
Nice to have
- Enrollment processing experience (group or individual ACA)
- 820 payment files and/or financial reconciliation experience
- Experience with Facets
