About

Knowledge Management (KM) is a central topic for Safran Aircraft Engines, particularly within the Technical Directorate. A knowledge structuring approach is in place at the company level, and you will be part of this initiative. The objective is for everyone to benefit from multiple lessons learned and access to engine design practices, with a real structure that facilitates navigation. The TEEXMA tool (internally renamed Gidek) is used by all employees to gather this information.

Responsibilities

As the method and tool guarantor, you will:

• Gather user-requested evolutions.
• Validate technical relevance and prioritize requests, ensuring they align with the annual budget.
• Lead subcontracting work for tool functional evolutions (e.g., adding AI for data consultation) or user support (e.g., updating MOOCs).
• Train new users and update user guides as needed.
• Monitor actual tool adoption and communicate successes, including within the Safran Group.
• Troubleshoot user issues or platform blockages using a ticket management tool (Jira).
• Ensure the tool evolves over time by working with the IT department teams.

This position is within the System Engineering and Product Definition Methods and Tools department. You will be surrounded by other method and tool guarantors working on subjects such as 3D modeling (CATIA), PLM (Teamcenter and 3DX), MBSE (Rhapsody), and SPDM (Aras). You will benefit from their best practices as method and tool guarantors to carry out your mission.

You are:

• Capable of managing a roadmap, actions, and external stakeholders.
• Able to analyze the impacts of bugs, functional evolutions, or version upgrades.
• Recognized for your listening skills and service orientation.
• Autonomous and able to prioritize your numerous tasks.

Some non-mandatory advantages:

• Experience administering a tool in an industrial company is a good start.
• Familiarity with the TEEXMA tool as a user is a good start.
• Comfortable with IT challenges without necessarily wanting to code evolutions yourself.
• Previous experience in Knowledge Management activities is a good start.
