GCC Engineer: Asset Manager

My client is looking for a highly motivated and efficient GCC Engineer: Asset Manager to support their operations. The role will provide expertise in the maintenance of equipment ensuring plant and equipment is maintained effectively and operated in a safe and reliable condition, through the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and tactics for the management of assets and equipment whilst optimising the interface with other mine systems and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of equipment maintenance programmes on the mine in terms of the relevant legislation such as the MHSA.

Requirements

• B.Degree / B.Tech Degree (NQF Level 7) in Mechanical Engineering
• GCC (Mines and Works) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3 years operational Engineering maintenance management experience within the mining environment
• 3 years operational asset management experience
• 2 years operational project management experience
• 2 years management experience
