The GCP Engineer will support the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure for enterprise-level initiatives in Riyadh. This role is essential for driving secure, scalable, and resilient cloud services aligned with strategic digital transformation programs.

Detailed Job Description

As a GCP Engineer, you will work on high-impact cloud projects involving infrastructure deployment, operational automation, and optimization of Google Cloud services. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure cloud environments meet performance, compliance, and reliability standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on GCP expertise, experience working in large-scale or enterprise environments, and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues. Key Responsibilities

• ✓ Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• ✓ Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, scalability, and resiliency.
• ✓ Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud automation, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• ✓ Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance efficiency.
• ✓ Troubleshoot GCP services, networking, compute, storage, and IAM configurations.
• ✓ Collaborate with enterprise teams to support cloud migrations and new deployments.
• ✓ Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements in KSA.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• ✓ 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services and environments.
• ✓ Strong background in cloud infrastructure, deployments, and operations.
• ✓ Familiarity with cloud automation tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.).
• ✓ Knowledge of networking, security, IAM, compute, storage, and monitoring on GCP.
• ✓ Experience in enterprise or large-scale cloud operations (preferred).
• ✓ Must be currently based in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate to Riyadh.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• ✓ Google Cloud certifications (Associate Engineer, Professional Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• ✓ Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud setups.
• ✓ Knowledge of containerization (GKE, Docker, Kubernetes).
• ✓ Background in cloud cost management and performance tuning.
