About

On behalf of our client in the financial services sector, Procom is searching for a Gen AI Developer for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Job Description

The Gen AI Developer will support the development of generative AI solutions using Python, cloud technologies, and advanced AI/ML concepts. The role involves applying machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and retrieval-augmented generation to business use cases while building reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop generative AI solutions using Python and cloud technologies.
• Apply machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and RAG concepts to real business use cases.
• Write reusable, efficient, and testable code.
• Support the integration and deployment of models in cloud environments.
• Contribute to AI-assisted development environments.
• Analyze complex problems and deliver practical AI solutions.
• Collaborate on technical implementations that support business needs.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and RAG.
• Strong Python proficiency, including writing reusable, efficient, and testable code.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience deploying or integrating models in cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 6-8 years of overall experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Familiarity with Java to support hybrid development environments.
