About the Opportunity
One of our clients who are a Geneva‑based global commodities trading firm operating primarily in the energy sector are seeking an Accountant, who is familiar with Swiss reporting requirements and who has a background in energy commodity trading.
Requirements
- Strong experience in commodities trading
- Good understanding of Swiss Reporting Requirements
- Previous work experience in energy commodities
Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
- Maintain accurate records for trades, inventories, costs, and hedging entries.
- Prepare financial reports, P&L summaries, and support audits.
- Coordinate with trading, operations, and risk to ensure accurate financial data.
