About the Role
We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to join our Finance team in Paris. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of accounting data, supporting financial closings, and contributing to continuous improvement of our processes in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
- Manage daily accounting operations (fixed assets, treasury, taxes, payroll)
- Handle monthly/year-end closings, provisions, and account reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash operations
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and factoring processes
- Prepare tax declarations (VAT, C3S, DES, CVAE)
- Contribute to statutory accounts and ensure compliance
AP / AR & Expenses
- Process supplier payments and reconcile accounts
- Manage customer payments, aging balance, and provisions
- Oversee expense reports and related tools
Internal Control & Audit
- Support closing reviews and strengthen internal controls
- Reconcile sub‑ledgers and general ledger
- Assist with audits and intercompany processes
Systems
- Improve accounting processes and tools
- Work with Cegid XRP, Spendesk, and Excel

About You
Experience & Education
- Degree in Accounting (minimum Bac+2; DCG or equivalent preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in an accounting firm is a plus
- Strong Excel skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and French tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
