Minimum Requirements

  • BCom Accounting / Finance Degree
  • SAICA Articles completed preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
  • Strong experience in General Ledger Accounting
  • IFS ERP system experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and application
  • Specialist-level technical accounting ability
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Full General Ledger accounting function
  • Month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Preparation and review of financial statements
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and account substantiation
  • IFRS compliance and technical accounting application
  • Journal processing, accruals, and provisions
  • Fixed asset accounting and intercompany transactions
  • Financial analysis and variance reporting
  • Managing audit preparation and audit queries
  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data within IFS
